Donation for the Swiss Muscular Dystrophy Association

The Swiss Muscular Dystrophy Society visits Lilienberg

A donation of CHF 2000 for those affected, their families and the association.

Our foundation has donated CHF 2000 to the Swiss Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Muscular Dystrophy Association works throughout Switzerland in areas where the needs of people with muscular dystrophy, their families, and professionals are not adequately met. Through social counseling, support groups, courses and training programs, as well as leisure and vacation activities, the association empowers those affected to achieve greater self-determination and a better quality of life. This donation will also help them continue their work and is a sign of our solidarity.

During a visit by Managing Director Sandra Messmer-Khosla and Marketing Officer Rosa Tuñas Castro to Lilienberg, there were interesting discussions about the work of the Muscular Dystrophy Society, its concerns and the people who benefit from it, following a tour and a fine lunch.

Symbolic check presentation.

The highlight of the visit was the symbolic check presentation against the impressive backdrop of Lake Constance between Susanne Grüner, Director and member of the Foundation Board, and Sandra Messmer-Khosla. We are delighted to be able to support the Muscular Dystrophy Society and the children, adolescents, and adults affected by the condition.

We are also delighted to be attending the sports camp of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Nottwil in October. The training camp is aimed at young powerchair hockey players with disabilities and seeks to inspire new talent for the sport and prepare them for the national team, which is among the best in the world and recently won the world championship. Supervised by experienced coaches and a support team available around the clock, the camp offers participants intensive training, valuable exchange, and unforgettable days together.
