What skills will determine career success or stagnation in the future? How do we bring VUCA-compatible solutions, personal responsibility, and courage back into our increasingly state-regulated lives?
In this Lilienberg interview, we talk with Reto Ammann, Chairman of the Board and majority shareholder of the House of Learning in Romanshorn, about "Future Skills" and whether our education system will still be able to meet these challenges in the future.
Reto Ammann is Chairman of the Board of Directors and strategic head of the SBW House of Learning AG with learning centers in Eastern Switzerland and Germany. As an education entrepreneur, he leads one of the most innovative private education groups in the DACH region, known for its pioneering work in personalized and strengths-based learning.
Ammann, who shaped the institution for many years, including its operational management until recently, is considered a leading thinker when it comes to breaking with outdated school structures. His focus is on designing education in a way that not only equips young people with knowledge but also fulfills their dreams and talents. A key component of this is genuine "future skills," including entrepreneurial thinking, to prepare them for the dynamic world of work and life tomorrow.
