Carry on what has proven successful, create something new

Christoph Vollenweider in conversation about 17 years in Lilienberg.

Since January 1, 2009, Christoph Vollenweider has shaped and continuously developed the Lilienberg Foundation's program. After 17 years, he is handing over program responsibility to Christoph Lanter, who has been responsible for the foundation's program as artistic director since July 1, 2026. Christoph Vollenweider will remain connected to Lilienberg as a member of the foundation's board of trustees and will continue to contribute to the program on a case-by-case basis.

In a personal conversation, the two reflect on Christoph Vollenweider's work, formative encounters, and his perspective on entrepreneurship, as well as the development of Lilienberg in recent years. At the same time, they look to the future: what will remain, what will change, and what new priorities should the program set in the future?
